We discuss the changing face of the gamer and the power behind the audience.
Man the host sad “you know” so much. It’s funny.
He looks like Tony Hawk, to me. LOL
the only people who will by a gaming console at launch are the gamers and the only reason that they will by it is because of the games so I don’t get why Microsoft advertise the xboxone as a social media box when they know the only people who watched the xboxone reveal are gamers.
No they won’t, Microsoft wants 100% of their base with Kinect, so developers can be motivated to do something good with that device and spend more time and money on those type of games so those can be good.
Skype charges for screen sharing to more than one person. It doesn’t allow for multi video chat unless you pay. So I would like to see how they change for the next gen
We haven’t seen all exclusives in the first year for either yet.
I agree with Jessica 100% about the pricing of the PS3 and with what is going on with XBOne right now. I will buy an XBOne eventually, but I have the PS4 on preorder. Not JUST for price but because I think MS will drop the price sooner than Sony will have to on the PS4. Or offer a version for $100 less without the kinect.
God please PlayStation drop the ps3 price. And pachter is right. The reason we now get to use our phones in tandom with the games next gen is because they want those people.
The PS4 has a lot of the same media functions as Xbone. Not all of them, but a lot. And while they didn’t talk about the more casual crowd at their initial reveal, they spent PLENTY of time talking about casual features at E3 and in videos about the system. They’re SELLING you the idea that the system only does games, but in reality it IS a mediabox, not just a games box.
